Winter Wedding Downtown Lindsay

They say team work makes the dream work, and it couldn’t be more true when working with this group of local entrepreneurs. I am so grateful to have worked with this super talented bunch for this styled winter wedding photoshoot. Planning a styled shoot starts weeks in advance, coordinating details to make sure everyones vision aligns– little did we know that it would be one of THE coldest days of the year with a major blizzard going on! However, we persevered through it, and luckily all made it to the studio safe and sound ready to create and have fun. Becky and Kent, our models, were totally game for anything I sent their way- even braving the minus 15 degree weather in bare arms.

While there are definitely more couples that opt for green grassy fields to celebrate their nuptials, this photoshoot goes to show that winter weddings can truly be just as beautiful. There is something about winter that just feeds that longing for connection & love that is celebrated on a wedding day. An added benefit too, a snowy backdrops give you the ability to play up accessories such as socks, hair and florals giving that pop to your images. Why not use the cold snowy day as an extra excuse to cuddle a little longer and closer during your photos!
